In this video, Zebra 2 – MSEG Gate – I show you how to use the MSEG (Multi-Stage Envelope Generator) to create a gate effect.

In Zebra 2 – MSEG Gate I show you how to use the MSEG as a gate so you can create many different patterns which can be used to emulate melodies or arpeggiated sequences.

Not only can you create sequences but you can also use the MSEG pattern for modulating any parameters in the synth for great effects.

In this video I use the MSEG to create a Volume Envelope (amplitude Envelope) buy modulating the volume control in Zebra 2`s oscillator. Also I use it to control the filters cutoff frequency for more movement in the overall sound.

Finally we control the Tune parameter (pitch) to create some weird and wonderful sounds.

All in all Zebra 2- MSEG Gate shows you the very basics and opens up the world of MSEG`s for you to take control of anything you desire and create some truly creative sequences, sounds and patches which are totally unique and individual to you.
