The All New Zebra Distortion Effect

In this walk-through tutorial i walk you through the all New Zebra Distortion Effect and some of the new patches which are bundled with the U-He Zebra 2.7 upgrade.

I take you through the new distortion units parameters and different distortion types and try to explain what each one does and attempt to show you how the change a basic sound.

The New Zebra Distortion Effect sounds great, its deep, warm (depending on settings) and pretty easy to use and understand. If you have used any type of distortion unit before you will find this a walk in the park, but don’t be fooled, its very, very powerful.

Another bonus is that it can be used in the upper creation panel (the modular slots) and the bottom panels (the effects section) just remember to put the effects section on FIRST before trying it!

The new patches are also very very good, as to be expected from Howard Scarr, they are clean, precise and very “big” and you will hear the New Zebra Distortion Effect being used on many of the presets.

So get upgrading, get your new Distortion unit, new free patches (10 years of Zebra) and if your a Pro-Tools user its been updated for you too, so go enjoy.
