Discover The Great Zebra Arpeggiator
Hey Guys! Let’s talk about the Zebra arpeggiator for a bit, it has some great uses and it’s very flexible!
The Arpeggiator in Zebra has some additional functions that might be unfamiliar to you, for example you can choose your own notes and you can change the step length for each individual note.
Therefore you can really go crazy with it and make some unique sounds. The other great addition is the ArpMod which basically is an extra modulation source for when your using the arpeggiator.
You can choose the modulation value for each step and use this to modulate anything you want. Try for example modulating the filter cutoff and resonance, or if you really want to go crazy, use the ArpMod on the pitch!
Another great trick is to play with the attack and release of the sound, this is often overlooked when your using arpeggiators, but it can give awesome results as well.
A while back I was trying to make a lot of movie and cinematic sounds and I used the Arpeggiator a lot for that, its a great way to come up with new ideas and melodies and it always ”has a sound too it”.
When you have questions let me know, I did not explain everything yet, but we’re gonna go into this more in the future!
