In this tutorial, Echo Sound Works shows you how to quickly make any sound in Sylenth more present with this modulation envelope pitch trick!
Sometimes sounds or presets will sound great when you play them in Sylenth, but a lot of times they may lack that punch and presence to fit in a mix. This Sylenth modulation envelope pitch trick will help make almost any sound more usable and more present. It especially helps when you’re applying side chain compression.
It’s a really simple trick. All you have to do is go to either of the two Modulation Envelopes and select Pitch AB as your destination. Then turn the rotary knob up to 10 and then slightly boost the Decay to taste. This will add extremely high frequency content to the sound that is perceived as a snap or click to our ears. This will help make any sound fight through a dense mix!
