Introduction to Twisted Tools S-layer Reaktor Ensemble

Here we are introducing yet another really great product from the Twisted Tools team. This time we are looking into layering samples with the incredibly awesome Twisted Tools S-layer Reaktor ensemble. S-LAYER is a sample layering sound creation tool that allows you to create, edit and play new sound combinations by taking samples and layering them together using an eight part sampler and an intuitive cell layout.

Trying to list all of the features and uses for Twisted Tools S-layer here would be insane. It does that much. What’s even better is just how well it works! With so much going on, Matt takes the time to walk through the basic navigation and begins the lesson by explaining all of the features in a way that just about anyone could understand. You can use up to 8 different samples at a time in S-layer, and can begin tweaking them right away with any of the controls and effects found on the Parameter Pages. Not sure where to even begin? No problem, S-layer also has some great randomization options to put to good use!

This is not just a fun toy for experimental artists, or a tool for making weird beats and sounds. Twisted Tools S-layer can also be used to create truly impressive, and original, sounds for people producing cinematic FX, foley and even video game design.
