Connecting Your Own Effects to Twisted Tools Rolodecks
One of the greatest things about using amazing ensembles like Twisted Tools Rolodecks, which is a multi-effects unit, is that you are able to customize your experience and the functionality by simply jumping into structure view and rewiring some things. I like to think of Reaktor as one of the greatest sandbox experiences ever for synth enthusiasts, musicians and producers alike. Just knowing that you have this kind of freedom to move things around, and even rebuild if necessary, is something that adds to the creative process and can help greatly in creating workflows.
To swap out the stretch effect that is in the EXT effect slot by default within Twisted Tools Rolodecks, all you need to doto get started is double click on the effect in the interface. This switches your perspective from panel view to structure view. Now you need to right-click and select the new effect you wish to insert in place of the default effect. Simply rewire the new effect so that it is connected to the input and output modules and delete the unwanted effect. That’s it! If you want to rearrange any knobs, sliders, etc in the panel view before using the new effect, just click on the Edit Panel button.
