What Do $50,000 Headphones Sound Like?

What exactly does a $50,000 pair of headphones sound like? Could the sound quality from a pair of headphones possibly be worth this amount of money? I suppose the only way to know would be to try it yourself.

There are most likely other factors, aside from the actual sound of the headphones, that contribute to its enormous price. The fact that its tube-powered, in addition to the expensive materials from which its manufactured, constitute a $50,000 price tag in the eyes of Sennheiser, evidently.
