In this video from Rhythm Traders, we watch a demo of the aFrame Electrorganic Frame Drum, a peculiar, electronic percussion instrument that triggers a wide array of percussive sounds from sensory response provided by the user.

For a natural feel, the playing surface of the aFrame is made of a hi-tech material with excellent bounce and friction characteristics, yet it has the familiar feel of headed acoustic percussion. The aFrame would definitely be fun to incorporate into a live jam session, as well for introducing some new and human-like sounds to a track. From the amount of sensitivity to articulation heard in the demo video, the aFrame is worth paying attention to.
