Superbooth 2017: Quadrantid Swarm From Eowave
In this video, we watch a demo of the new Quadrantid Swarm prototype from Eowave, a digital synthesizer with 8 waveforms for modulation, a 2 pole analog filter, as well as a spring reverb for ambient effects.
The Quandrantid Swarm is a versatile, unique instrument for sound designers and musicians looking to explore exquisite and unfamiliar timbres that range from subtle to outrageous, nebulous to shimmering.
The Quadrantid Swarm also provides 8 touch keys that can be used as both a monophonic and polyphonic keyboard, as well as an 8 step sequencer. Additionally, it provides MIDI and CV I/O for integration with external devices.
There is not an official release date for the Quadrantid Swarm at this time; however, we can certainly expect to hear more in the coming week following Superbooth. It is expected to be priced at €499.
