NAMM 2017: Dreadbox ABYSS 4-Voice Poly Synth

In this video, we get a rundown of the Dreadbox ABYSS, a 4-voice polyphonic synthesizer that was debuted at this year’s NAMM Show. As you can hear, this synth sounds pretty dang awesome, producing some nice gritty tones.

What’s super cool about the ABYSS is that it has a variable waveshape oscillator, allowing for an ever-changing, dynamic waveform. This of course can produce some really interesting sounds, especially when combined with frequency modulation and other effects.
