Melodics Releases V2, Lessons For Keyboard
Melodics, an educational app that has helped users learn finger drumming with built-in lessons and real-time pattern sequencing, has released V2, extending Melodics into helping users learn to play keyboard and develop better techniques.
With the success of Melodics’ initial release for helping finger drummers, the addition of keyboard lessons will certainly be appreciated among any producer wishing to develop their playing skills.
Sam Gribben, the founder of Melodics and former CEO of Serato, describes Melodics V2:
“Traditional piano lessons aren’t really relevant, which is why we’ve built a tool that’s focused on skills producers need. Our courses teach techno bass lines, house chord progressions and trap leads, all skills modern musicians can apply directly to their production.”
Melodics will work with any keyboard that sends midi over USB, and has plug and play support for dozens of kits from major brands such as Novation, Akai, M-Audio, Roland, and Alesis.
The Melodics app is free to download and comes with 60 free lessons. You can visit the Melodics website to learn more.
