Intro to MK2 - Pt. 4 - Effects and Automation

Maschine comes with a great selection of effects that can be accessed from the hardware. In this video, I first talk about different applications using the sound, group, and master levels. Any effect can be applied to an individual sound, a group of sounds, or the master bus. In addition to Maschine’s stock effects, you can add in other NI effects as well as third-party plugins.

You can also record automation, or effect parameter changes. Just hold the “AUTO WR” button, play back the track, and turn the desired knob. Automation can be applied to sound and group levels, but not the master bus.
