‘Mainstream Synthwave’ from Equinox Sounds includes 5 future-facing Synthwave Construction Kits that combine nostalgic elements of 1980s pop culture with a modern twist. This sample pack is inspired by modern producers such as Kavinsky, Carpenter Brut, Com Truise, Betamaxx, Dead Astronauts, Mecha Maiko, NewRetroWave and Mitch Muder to name a few. Includes WAV and MIDI formats. 

In ‘Mainstream Synthwave’, you’ll find a fusion of upbeat and energetic loops featuring layered synths, rhythmic arpeggios, and pulsing basslines. The genre embraces the essence of 80s nostalgia, drawing influences from genres like new wave, Italo disco, and electro-pop while infusing them with contemporary production techniques and a fresh musical approach.

Each kit in ‘Mainstream Synthwave’ is presented with a full mix and its component parts featuring analogue synth leads and chords, pads, basslines, arpeggios, FX, and more. These construction kits are also provided with the key and BPM information. All are produced in immaculate 24-bit quality.

The drum tracks are supplied separately (kick, clap, hi-hat, etc.) for perfect drum loop mixing. The collection also includes the MIDI files for the melodic parts of the construction kits.

Each of these kits is given its own unique treatment, to create a pack which has all of the unmistakable hallmarks of the genre but with a sound all of its own.
