Minimoog: What Does "Fatness" Sound Like?
In this video provided by Ask.Audio, we explore the classic Minimoog synthesizer and what the fatness of its sound really means.
In our opinion, a fat sound is one that produces robust harmonic content in the low to mid range, providing the resonances and timbres that we can really feel. Often times with soft synths, we have to layer many sounds together to achieve the unified sound of a monophonic synthesizer like the Minimoog.
