In this video, appropriately titled Extreme Sampling In A Post-Apocalyptic Playground, we watch Youtuber Benn and Gear and synth wizard Richard Devine record samples from abandoned trucks and turn them into rhythmic masterpieces with the Polyend Perc.
Gear used:
Polyend Percs
MPC Live
Rode NT-SF-1
Sound Devices 788T-SSD
Zoom H3-VR
Zoom H6
Sennheiser MKE 440 (video audio)
From both a compositional and performance perspective, Polyend Perc can be used to do some pretty incredible things when it comes to creating unconventional rhythms, and this video is a great example of that. Who knew that a large hollow water tank could be used to create such sonically rich and diverse sounds!
