This "1-Bit Symphony" Composes Music In Real
In this video, we are introduced to Tristan Perich’s “1-Bit Symphony,” a musical composition performed by a single microchip housed in a CD case. Divided into five distinct movements, the final output makes its way through your everyday headphone jack.
Aside from the obvious, this project is fascinating in that it removes the barrier between recorded music and live musical performance. Not only this, but it represents the fact that bold, well-crafted music doesn’t have to be as sophisticated as we like to think.
