The Neova Is A MIDI Controller Ring That Uses Your Hand Gestures
Enhancia has unveiled Neova on Kickstarter, a wearable MIDI controller ring that allows musicians an additional mode of expression with its 9 identifiable hand gestures. It even comes along with a designated plugin, Plume, that provides hundreds of sound presets designated just for the ring.
Neova is a connected ring that identifies extremely natural hand gestures and faithfully interprets each subtlety into musical expression. This MIDI controller can be freely assigned to any effect from your DAW or hardware synthesizer. It results in a purposeful tool enabling new forms of creativity.
Neova is composed of two elements:
- A ring used to capture movements
- A hub that connects to your computer via USB
The Neova is currently priced at €210 and has raised $77,061 of its $61,914 goal. It’s expected delivery date is March 2019 and you can visit the Kickstarter page to learn more.
