The BlinkWheel Is A Rotating Step-Sequencer Triggered By LEDs

In this video from Norway-based artist Koka Nikoladze, we watch a demo of his BlinkWheel, a rotating disk that fires off glitchy rhythms and melodies from triggered LED’s.

In addition to the BlinkWheel’s obvious sophistication in the way that it functions, the actual music it generates is incredible as well, creating a transfusion of minimalism, downtempo, and other genres of sorts. It’d be awesome to hear what other kinds of music the BlinkWheel can create!
