Will tangible music media grow to become obsolete? Brought to our attention by an article from musicthinktank.com, music streaming as a form of music consumption is at an all time high. Understandably so, given the convenience of being able to play your favorite album with one tap on your phone or computer.
Looking forward, the lack of tangible media leaves the preservation of music at risk. Although virtually every song is available to us on streaming services like Spotify, it is hard to imagine it being available, and subsequently relevant, in a hundred years from now.
