Dubka Loves The Arp Odyssey

In this video provided by FutureMusic, electronic artist Dubka explains why he loves the duophonic analogue synth, the Arp Odyssey. Used by well-known artists including Kraftwerk and Herbie Hancock, this synth has a lot of character.

One thing that Dubka likes about the synth is the authentic sounds it produces. Compared to newer products on the market, the Odyssey has been around for quite a while, often being the musician’s first choice. As well as this, he goes into detail regarding both the delicacy of the filters and the transparent pulse width modulation that the synth provides.

Check out Dubka’s music here.
