Check Out This 1998 Music-Making Game For Playstation One

In this video from Youtuber ChrisLody, we watch how the old music making game for Playstation One, Music 2000, could be used to craft wicket 16bit beats on your television set in 1998.

The video below features a rather splendid song created with Music 2000.

Given that this game is now over 20 years old, it’s frankly quite impressive for what it is. While it’s interface is that of what you’d expect from a PS1 game, it still provides all of the necessary features of any DAW and it doesn’t sound too bad either. Vaporwave comes to mind!
