Introduction to Twisted Tools TMP16 Samplers for Reaktor
One of the Twisted Tools TMP16 samplers (the TMP16b, which is featured in this video) is actually bundled with one of their most popular samplepacks called Elements by Glitchmachines, which is loaded with some of the most impressive and unique massive analogue oneshots, heavily processed foley and designed sounds by legendary circuit bender Ivo Ivanov of Glitchmachines. A definite must-have for those who are serious about providing their audiences with mind-bending sounds to wrap their ears around. The samples included are truly impressive and the sampler is equally nice. Let’s take a look at how it all comes together in Reaktor.
The Twisted Tools TMP16 samplers are 16 voice pad style samplers that run inside of Reaktor. They each come with a blank 128 slot sample map and are bundled with Twisted Tools sample packs. Although they come with these sample packs, you can also load your own samples as well. You can even assign the same sample to many different pads, each processed differently. It’s very easy to get a sample loaded and assigned to a pad, and once you have a kit built, the fun really begins!
All settings in the Twisted Tools TMP16 samplers are made to an individual pad. This gives you the most amount of control possible and makes for a very intuitive process when setting up your kits. These settings are split up into three main categories – Parameters, Modulation and FX. Since each pad has it’s own group of settings, the only real limitation to what you can achieve is your own imagination.
