Creating Self-Generated Digital Wind Chimes using NI Reaktor
This two part video tutorial shows how to make a self-generated Digital Wind Chime Ensemble using NI’s Reaktor!
In this video tutorial, YouTube user peakssound demonstrates how to create a Digital Wind Chime using NI’s Reaktor. This Ensemble uses a geiger counter to randomly output clicks that in turn trigger the Oscillator. The generated waveform is then ran through a series of modules that allow the user to control the parameters of the output. The result is a dynamic self generated synth that is capable of producing a vast range of digital tones.
This tutorial is not for the faint of heart. It is a bit complex, and a little time consuming. But if you follow the video tutorial closely you will have your own Digital Wind Chime in about an hours time. If you find that you are having trouble, jump into the forum and post your problem. The community will be more than willing to help get you headed in the right direction!
