In this video, we’ll implement the 3 playback modes available in Beat Repeat – Mix, Instrument, and Gate.
So far by default we’ve simply been using Gate mode, which switches the input off when the repetitions are playing. Mix mode allows the input to continue playing while effect is on, and the Gate mode turns off the input altogether, so that the effect is only outputting sound when the stutter glitches are occurring. In addition, we’ll cover the Volume Decay knob, which decreases the volume for each successive repetition.
