Prism was created by Stephan Schmitt, who is the founder of Native Instruments and the creator of Reaktor, and uses Reaktor’s Modal Bank module to synthesize sounds. The Modal Bank is based upon Modal synthesis which is a form of synthesis that offers unmatched detail in sound quality, and is often regarded as one of the best forms of synthesis for physical modeling.
