Hyperion Strings Solo Cello – Deeply Sampled Solo Cello Library

Experience the expressive power of Hyperion Strings Solo Cello, a meticulously sampled solo cello library for Kontakt Player. Captured in a dry, intimate studio environment, this library features true legato, dynamic fingered and gliss articulations, plus a full spectrum of bowing techniques for ultra-realistic solo cello performances. With hundreds of naturally performed melodic phrases, runs, swells, and effects, composers can create fluid, musical lines with ease and precision.

Rich Articulations and True Legato

Hyperion Solo Cello includes chromatically sampled long and short articulations, pizzicatos, Bartok pizzicatos, and dynamic expressions. The combination of true legato with a wide range of bowing styles allows for highly expressive and realistic performance in real-time, making it ideal for cinematic scoring, orchestral composition, and advanced music production.

Melodic Phrases and Sequencing

The library offers 867 professionally performed short melodic phrases in major and minor keys. Tempo-synced and fully playable, these phrases can be sequenced with up to 32 steps per pattern, allowing forward, reverse, looping, and random playback directions. Independent pitch and timing controls give you total flexibility to craft the perfect musical sequence.

Powerful Performance Controls

Hyperion Strings Solo Cello provides a flexible, intuitive interface with pro-level mixing and deep customizability. The Master, True Legato, and Phrases presets provide quick access to complex articulations, and the full FX rack features convolution reverb with custom rooms, halls, chambers, and FX environments to shape your sound.
