From sound design to songwriting to mixing and mastering, there is a ton of knowledge that you need to gain to be successful, and on top of that, you need to understand the key characteristics of the style of music you want to make, especially if you want to make tracks that are recognized as belonging to that genre, and if you want to make tracks that will stand out from that genre as being new, original and groundbreaking.
That’s why we created this comprehensive course on how to make Trap music. Not only will you learn how to produce sounds and arrangements that are reminiscent of the genre, you will also see how these different processes link into each other, giving you lots of useful knowledge on overall workflow and song creation from start to finish.

- Make your own trap basses and discover some original approaches to working your trap bass in with your kick drum, using compression and other mixing techniques.
- Make 2 different trap style lead synths. One is an aggressive pluck synth. The other is an iconic vocal synth, made by sampling an acappella and applying an effects chain to it.
- Learn how to create various effects chains to create more authentic sounds
- See each section of the track get written, arranged and built up layer by layer.
- See the track get mixed and mastered after all of the edits and transitions have been finalized.
I DON’T USE ABLETON LIVE. WILL I STILL BENEFIT FROM THIS COURSE?
Yes you will! You can apply the techniques taught in this course using a different DAW to Ableton, such as Logic Pro, Cubase, FL Studio, Reason, etc.
You’ll still benefit from seeing the workflow to creating a track from the ground up. While you might not get exactly the same results, you’ll be able to produce a killer sounding trap track in your DAW of choice.
