While the passion for music is typically the sole driver behind great compositions, a secondary passion resides in others enjoyment of your work. If this factor were removed from the equation, would you still make music?
The sheer enthusiasm we share while working on a piece of music is a treasure in itself, independent of how others perceive the final product. However, listeners sharing the same emotions that we feel while writing a song is also a motivating factor.
