Using An Oscillator To Modify Pitch Of Gameboy
In this video from Look Mum No Computer, we learn how the CPU of an old Gameboy can be used as a host for an oscillator signal, allowing the Gameboys internal sounds to be modified.
From information he provides in the video’s description:
So its simple! you solder a wire from the oscillator out straight to one leg of the timing crystal of the #gameboy, and you can override that and use the oscillator to clock the gameboys CPU! meaning you can adjust the pitch!
