Tracktion Releases Waveform, DAW To Inspire Creativity
Waveform is a new DAW released by Tracktion that is designed to provide an inherently modernistic workflow approach for producers that wish to make music quickly and easily. It is available for OS X, Linux, Windows and quite interestingly, the Raspberry Pi. What’s even more interesting is that Waveform’s supported Raspberry Pi functionality is seldom mentioned in the DAW’s promotions, making us a tad bit curious as to how Waveform can interact with the Linux-based mini-computers.
Waveform is an unlimited app designed for modern music production. […] Unlike other apps, Waveform supports all major plugin and loop varieties and runs on all major desktop operating systems – now including Raspberry Pi.

- Collective Sampler/Synthesizer

Waveform’s GUI is definitely one of its appealing features, incorporating interfaces similar to Logic’s mixer, FL Studio’s arrangement interface, and Ableton Live’s session view. It’s no doubt that Waveform looks like a lot of fun, and you can visit the Tracktion website to learn more about what Waveform has to offer.
