Hours and hours of sound design? Psh. This instrument, known as a waterphone, is capable of creating some of the most eerie, spine chilling sounds by simply brushing it with the mallet.

Hence its name, the bowl of the instrument carries a small amount of water, allowing the sound vibrations to create that spooky, cacophonous sound. We wouldn’t be surprised if this has been used in some of our favorite horror movies!
