The Vindor ES1 Is An Electronic Saxophone and MIDI Controller
The Vindor ES1 is a new electronic saxophone instrument and MIDI controller, seeking funding on Kickstarter, that is designed to provide an easy entry to playing music for beginners, as well as act as a fun new tool for producers.
As described on the Kickstarter page, the Vindor ES1 is:
- Affordable. For less than $200, the Vindor is cheaper than buying or renting a saxophone, flute or clarinet.
- Relevant to all ages. Lightweight and tough, the Vindor ES1 is designed to be played by adults and children over six years old.
- Satisfying to play. By digitally producing tones, the Vindor ES1 eliminates the squeaks and squawks that frustrate beginners.
- Creative. With a unique sound, quick response, and four-octave span, the Vindor ES1 gives you the flexibility to be inventive and to experiment.
- Mobile. Lightweight, compact and with a built-in rechargeable battery you can play the Vindor ES1 anywhere.
- Quiet when needed. You can play the Vindor ES1 with headphones to play or practice in peace (and out of earshot of roommates, parents, neighbors).
- Connected. Use it as a controller for software instruments and with music apps like GarageBand on desktops, tablets and smartphone.
