The TheoryBoard MIDI Controller Helps You Learn Music Theory
The TheoryBoard is a new Music Theory MIDI Controller that is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter. The controller is aimed at helping users’ with music theory by providing LED color coated mappings of 860+ scales, various chord structures and more.
A complete novice could pick this up and instantly level up their understanding of theory, while advanced producers could use this to derive new inspiration.
The TheoryBoard supplies a total of 4 color-coated octaves of notes for each musical scale, as well as every possible chord formation within the scale. The MIDI controller can be used with any DAW, as well as with any VST or hardware gear.
