Syncing Modular Synth With Ableton Live
In this video from Youtuber mylarmelodies, we watch a demo of the Expert Sleepers ES eurorack modules, exploring ways in which the modular synth can interact with a computer interface to further process the sound.
At the root of this, the Expert Sleepers ES3 and ES6 modules are being used to create modular outputs, allowing audio to be received from Ableton, processed within the Eurorack module, and then sent back into the DAW. Of course, this is a brief summary, and there is much more to what’s actually taking place.
He extends this even further by mapping parameters on the Ableton Push to the ES3 module, which is super cool. We often perceive there to be a huge wall between the analog and the digital world, and demonstrations like this prove that to be wrong.
