Superbooth 2017: Repro5 from U-he
U-he, a leading developer in analog-emulating soft synths, has debuted the Repro5, their new installment to their soft synth line that models the Sequential Circuits Prophet-5. In this video provided by Sonic State, we get insight into Repro5 from Urs Heckmann himself.
From the GUI of Repro5 seen in the video, we can definitely see its similarities with Repro1; however this is trivial in the grand scheme of its functionality. Something that’s awesome about Repro5 is that it allows you to edit modulation depth…a feature that’s conducive to sound design according to Heckmann.
We honestly are very excited to hear more about Repro5, including its release details to further sound demos. Mr. Heckmann and the entire team at U-he continues to strike the barrier between hardware and software synths, and we commend their hard work.
