Roland's Go:Mixer Redefines Cell Phone Recording
Cell phone microphones are fantastic for capturing ideas on the go, however the sound itself is usually not that of production quality. That is why Roland has created the Go:Mixer, a phone-powered device that adds a bit of spark to the recordings.
It comes with a total of five inputs including instrument cable inputs, general microphone jacks, and other audio players. Not only this, but it supplies both microphone and guitar preamps to add a bit of coloration to the sound. It even fits in the palm of your hand!
Contrary to the mono recordings that traditional cell phone recordings provide, the Go:Mixer provides a stereo input and output, which is something we really like. Additionally, this mixer could be very helpful for musicians on a budget, as well as those that like to make music on the fly.
