Reason Will Now Support 3rd-Party VSTs In Reason 9.5
Propellerhead has made the game changing decision of introducing 3rd party VST support within Reason 9.5. You can check out the intro video below.
While users of the powerhouse DAW have always loved and been satisfied with Reason’s vast array of native plugins, it is really incredible that these users will now be able to use external VST plugins. This functionality is also integrated quite well with Reason’s existing workflow interface.
Specific Features
- Rack Friendly: VST plugins will be right at home in the Reason rack. Drag & Drop from the browser, use CV with your plugins, add Players, put them in Combinators with Reason’s own devices or Rack Extensions – all the things you expect when working in Reason!
- A device called home: VSTs live in the new Plugin Rack Device that sits in the Reason rack. Here’s where the plugin connects to Reason and where you can open the plugin window with a simple click.
- Tight sound: Reason’s patchable rack lets you route audio any way you want, and the new plugin delay compensation in Reason 9.5 keeps your sound in phase at all times.
The Reason 9.5 update will be available on May 29th and is free for current Reason users. A pivotal update to say the very least, you can visit Propellerhead’s announcement page to learn more.
