This is certainly a rather eccentric and equally fascinating approach to handling the remains of the deceased. While the physical process of this is one thing, there are obviously many emotional and spiritual elements involved as well.

In our opinion, the answer is: both. While embedding bodily remains into vinyl can be perceived as odd, we find it to be endearing as well. The sensitive topic of death isn’t a whole lot of fun to delve into, but this short-film brings a new, humbling light to it.
