KORG Updates Gadget With Three New Gadgets, NKS Support
KORG has released a major update for KORG Gadget, a standalone music-making app for iOS and Mac, that introduces three new gadgets: Lisbon, Vancouver, and DeeMax. The update also brings support for Native Instruments’ NKS plugin format.
Lisbon – polyphonic Sci-fi synthesizer – which produces a “thick, glossy, futuristic sound” using circuit modelling and five different FX
Vancouver – Layering Melody Sampler – with 90 included sounds, twin sample oscillators so you can import your own samples.
DeeMax by Dotec Audio – a loudness maximizer with multiple modes to prevent you going too far – is there such a thing as too far?
NKS Support – on OS X – Native Instruments plug-in mapping system allows you to integrate into Komplete Kontrol and Maschine
You can listen to a sound demo of these new gadgets below.
The full version of Korg Gadget for Mac is available for 199 USD, while the iOS version is priced at $39.99. You can visit the KORG website to learn more.
