Analog Synth Live Set Up With Solar Bears

In this video on behalf of FACT Magazine, we get a walkthrough of Solar Bear’s live set, making use of a wide selection of analog synths including The Tempest drum machine and the Arturia Minibrute.

As he explains, the heart and brains of the live set is the Octatrack. Being both a sampler and a MIDI sequencer, the machine is responsible for telling the synth modules what to play, allowing a single control for triggering audio and effects in their set.
