Field Recording: Soundscapes From The Pacific Northwest
Recording the sounds of nature, from birds to the sound of trees dancing in the wind, can be a fulfilling activity for many audiophiles. Such is the case with Andy Martin, embarking on a year-long journey to record the sounds of the Pacific Northwest.
Throughout the areas in which he visits, he plans to record ambient sounds at three distinct times of day: dawn, mid-day, and dusk. When he is finished, he hopes to have collected audio from 36 different locations! A sizable task to say the least, we look forward to hearing what he captures.
