Composing The Soundtrack For Horror Film, "Starry Eyes"
With any horror film, let alone movies in general, the soundtrack is a primary element in grabbing the viewers attention. In this video, we watch composer Jonathan Snipes give us a brief walk-through of his process of scoring the popular horror film, Starry Eyes.
Not only do we get to observe Snipes overall songwriting and scoring process, but we get to see the more technical facets of his workflow within Logic alongside gear that includes the Korg MS-20 and the classic Rhodes Mark II Stage Piano. It’s also very intriguing to hear the music in parallel with the actual scenes of which he is scoring.
