Analogue Delay Powered By Floppy Disk

In this video, we get a demonstration of the ECHO, a brand-new delay pedal that takes advantage of a 3.5″ floppy disk. Quite a unique approach to a common effect, we can definitely hear the nice analogue feedback it produces.

The diskette motor runs in four modes: Accelerator, Break, Tape Machine, and Random Tape. With each mode sounding distinct from the others, the user has plenty of leeway in terms of sound design.
