In this tutorial for Maschine 2, learn how to use and assign macro knobs to different parameters in your Maschine project.
Maschine’s macro knobs allow you to quickly and easily control various parameters, even if they are located in different menus. For example, macro knobs on the sound level can be assigned to sampler properties, VST settings, or even to effects loaded in your sound slots.
Group macro knobs can control properties of all sounds within the group as well as parameters of group-level effects. And master macro knobs can control essentially any parameter within Maschine.
By mapping master macro knobs to different effects and parameters, we can control our project’s sounds and groups in real time. Combining these knobs with scene changes allow for nearly limitless possibilities, all performed live.
