The Roland System 500 is offering 5 modules :

The 512 Dual VCO (349$)
The 521 Dual VCF (349$)
The 530 Dual VCA (299$)
The 540 Dual Envelope Generator and LFO (349$)
The 572 Phase Shifter, Delay and LFO (369$)

Pricing is lower than many highly regarded brands, a Dual VCO is more often seen at a price oscillating between 450$ to 600$ and even more for high end brands.

Roland could certainly open up a part of the modular market with their price range allowing people who don’t wish to spend too much into these modulars before being well trained to use them and start to develop more complex systems.

At top of all, they sound great! This should be a winner product.
